Robyn Pitera MS. RD. LD

After leaving my home town of Cape Cod, MA, I ventured out to pursue my passion for preventive health care and how it relates to human health and wellness. It was during my time at Clemson University where I completed a degree in health science that I began to truly develop my love and knowledge surrounding fitness, nutrition, and how it affects our overall health. During this time, I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to also study physical fitness, weight lifting, and yoga therapy. As an avid runner for many years, I also personally furthered that passion and started my career in triathlons. To this day, I have participated in 2 triathlon national championships. It was the intensity of my triathlon training plans that led me to understand and appreciate the importance of balance in life; including stretching, rest and relaxation, nutrition therapy, and yoga therapy. Having a proper balance of these aspects in life can and will prevent and treat the myriad of chronic diseases that affect so many Americans today.

At that point, I decided I wanted to further my education to focus more on nutrition therapy so that I could share this specific knowledge with others. I then traveled back to New England to study nutrition and received my Master’s degree in Nutrition therapy while completing my Registered Dietitian certification as well. They say if you find a job that you love you won’t ever work a day in your life. I believe this to be true and believe that I am lucky enough to do what I love each and every day. After relocating to Arkansas I partnered with Casey, Nicole, and NoomaLife Studios to start NoomaNutrition – my way to help spread my knowledge and passion for nutrition with others in order to help them find balance in their lives and reach their full health potentials.
