Jenny found yoga (or better yet, yoga found Jenny) in 2013, when Jenny realized she needed a life rebooting. She was physically and mentally exhausted, keeping up with the demands of living a busy, American life. Jenny calls yoga her “midlife crisis.” For her, yoga became a means of creating space—physical and mental space—to just “be.”

Shortly thereafter, Jenny began enrolling in and completing Yogafit trainings and continues on that path today. She considers herself to be a student of yoga and yoga philosophy first, a teacher of yoga second. Her yoga goals include to continue to take trainings through Yogafit and to soon be certified in Yogafit Warriors program, which is yoga designed for the military and PTSD.

Jenny has a passion for mindfulness and breathing and her motto is yoga is for every body, and everybody can do yoga. She loves the fact that yoga does not discriminate, it is all inclusive, and for everyone. Yoga has taught Jenny so many life-lessons and she is forever grateful to the path.

When she’s not practicing yoga, Jenny works as a Speech-Language Pathologist. She has been a wife to Lee for 21 years and is a mother to three beautiful, unique children. In her leisure, Jenny enjoys reading, laughing, music and dancing, and going to concerts.

Jenny is so very excited to be a part of the Nooma experience. She is thankful for this opportunity.
